Total War: Three Kingdoms the latest title in the world’s most popular strategy series (Total War), is not going to make it out on time. Creative Assembly Developer of the game announced that the game will now arrive on May 23, 2019, that is around three months later than its previously scheduled March 7 release date.
Creative Assembly director Rob Bartholomew said in a statement that the team needed more time to ensure that the revolutionary features in the game are ready. Creative Assembly will also spend the extra time working on adding polish, fixing bugs, and ensuring the localization is done right.
The developer Creative Assembly said the delay doesn’t affect pre-orders. However, if you do run into an issue with your pre-order, you should reach out to the retailer where you pre-ordered or to publisher Sega’s support staff.
While Total War: Three Kingdoms won’t be out on time, fans don’t have to wait much longer to see more of the games in action. The next video stream will set on Wednesday, February 13, with another one coming a week later. More details are available on the Total War official website.
