February 27, 2019, Earlier this Tuesday, North Korea Leader Kim Jong Un has arrived in Hanoi. Kim traveled to Vietnam via train that passed through China. Hundreds of soldiers accompanied the North Korean leader for the Summit. Upon arrival, Kim was greeted with flowers and cheers by the Vietnamese people.
During this time President Donald Trump flew to Vietnam via Air Force One. While Trump was arriving in Vietnam, Kim visited North Korea embassy in Hanoi. On the other hand. Several hours after US President Trump’s arrival, he met with Vietnam’s President Nguyen Phu Trong.
Trump thanked the people of Vietnam for the warm welcome he received.
Trump and Kim are scheduled Wednesday evening for their meeting, considering this will be their second summit.

The summit is to promote the idea of denuclearization. President Donald Trump has stated his primary goal is to restate his concept of North Korea’s denuclearization. If North Korea denuclearize, it is possible to stop the current Korean War. The first summit in Singapore featured the same goal. Trump repeatedly said that North Korea could become one great economic powers of the world. He said this is possible if the country will denuclearize.
The summit also seeks to create a better relationship for the US and North Korea. President Donald Trump sees potential in North Korea, and he hopes to achieve this goal during the summit with Kim.
