Sacred has been named the official CBD Sponsor of the 2020 Allstate Hot Chocolate 15K/5K and this will allow runners to try it’s CBD products. Before the race, SACRED is expected to participate in a number of expos where it will educate runners about its products and help them know the benefits of using them.
During the expo, runners will be able to get the first-hand experience with SACRED’s full-spectrum CBD products including its pain Lotion, Infused Body Stick, pain balm and wellness tincture. The company which was founded by Silvia Orizaba recently revealed its retail kiosk locations within the Chicago Metropolitan area.
Orizaba, who is eager to showcase SACRED’s products in the 2020 racing event, said that it is very rewarding to help runners learn more about the use of CBD. “During the Allstate Hot Chocolate 15K/5K, we will focus on educating these runners about CBD and how it can be of great help to them.
CBD allows us to adopt a more holistic approach when it comes to the treatment of muscle pain which unfortunately is something that most runners whether avid or recreational experience. I can’t wait to hear the runners share their different positive experiences after the race,” she said.Silvia Orizaba founded SACRED intending to help people see that products with natural ingredients can promote good health, providing them with more options to living a better life.
In 2012, Orizaba began to work with legislators and policymakers to educate more people on the benefits of medical marijuana and push for its legalization. She moved to the United States from Mexico, her original place of birth, in order to improve on her spoken English and expand her business opportunities. When she became better in English, she began to educate others on the importance of wellness.
Orizaba’s interest in alternatives to healthy living was spurred by her mother’s experience with different health problems. According to the entrepreneur, her mother’s struggle with health-related issues motivated her to begin learning about alternatives that could help her live a healthier life and not have to depend on pills to get rid of the pain. She said that when her mother was diagnosed with liver cancer, she had to take 30+ pills a day to reduce pain.
“My mother eventually passed away from using all of those pills….. I am now dedicated to educating others about alternatives to pain treatment and one of them is CBD,” she said.
Orizaba has spent the last couple of years making different CBD products and marketing it to businesses and consumers in the U.S. She desires to help other Latina women learn more about wellness and help them grow and expand their businesses. SACRED is currently working with Aim and Amplify to help it achieve its marketing goals.
