3-D Metal Printing has been around for a couple decades now, but its production in the beginning was costly and slow. In recent times, however, 3-D metal printing technology has swiftly advanced, making production cheap and fast. Nowadays, this technology allows manufacturers to print complex designs which were previously difficult to produce. Furthermore, products with many small parts can be easily produced in a single step without jeopardizing quality.
The development of Artificial Embryos often opens the door to philosophical, ethical, and religious debates. In light of that, we simply cannot ignore the fact the development of these embryos help us understand how life is created. In November 2018, scientists from Cambridge University, London, created mouse embryos simply by using stem cells, and without the use of eggs or sperm. This breakthrough could allow us to create life outside of traditional means, but will likely be a topic of controversy among some.

However, Alphabet, the parent company of Google, has partnered with the Canadian government to develop a smart-city in Toronto’s Waterfront district. The idea of AI creating something on its own has been a challenge until now, but with the development of Generative Adversarial Network, it’s inching its way into materialization. In this, two neural networks are put into conflict, where one is tasked to create images based on real life and the other to identify the fake ones. After a time, the former will create real images as it gradually learns from its mistakes that the latter network identifies as fake.
